Affordable do it yourself email marketing

September 22nd, 2006 · 2 Comments

If you are in need of an email service provider for newsletters etc, I recommend Constant Contact. I have used these guys for several of my clients and their customer support and pricing is fantastic. They have a free 60 day trial and you don’t even have to give them your credit card number until the trial is up. The good news is if you have 50 subscribers or less there is no charge for their service. 50-500 subscribers is only $15 a month.

If you are asking yourself “self, why should I pay to send some emails out when I can do it for free from my email account?” the answer is simple, but multi-part. Can you design and use a professional looking email template to use for your newsletter? Can you track how many of your emails got opened? Can you track how many of your links in the email got clicked? Do you want to waste time adding subscribers manually to your list or just want them to be able to sign up unassisted through your website? If you answered no to any of these questions, then Constant Contact is for you.

I was kicked off of CONSTANT CONTACT due to too many reported spams… (my emails were legal but i think that the recievers didn’t know who i was) Anyway — is there a another service that does what “constant contact” does?
    Please let me know
    Thank you…

    Hi Kevin,
You can also try www.verticalresponse.com, however as with any email campaign you’ll do much better with an opt-in campaign or double opt-in where your receivers know who you are!
